Hardware Firmware (GMiner Toolkit)
Main firmware installation and management tool for ASIC devices.
Includes flashing, configuration, updates, and safe rollback.
Step 1 — Preparation
Before using the GMiner Toolkit, make sure your ASICs run on original BITMAIN firmware.
If your device has a custom firmware (VNISH, LuxOS, HiveOS, MSK Miner, etc.), you must first restore stock BITMAIN firmware — otherwise, the Toolkit won’t detect your miner.
⚠️ Firmware versions released after March 2024 by BITMAIN may block installation due to changes in NAND structure.
Use a version from 2020–2023 or earlier for compatibility.
Step 2 — Download GMiner Toolkit
Official repository:
Toolkit supports:
-
Windows 32/64-bit
-
Linux Desktop (Arch/Ubuntu) via Wine or PortProton
Step 3 — Add ASIC Devices
After launching the Toolkit, click “+ New Group”.
Enter:
-
Group name (e.g., S19j Pro)
-
IP range for scanning (e.g., 192.168.1.1 – 192.168.1.255)
-
Optional password (default: admin)
💡 If you have multiple miners or IP networks, you can create unlimited groups
Step 4 — Scan and Detect Devices
Once the scan is complete, your devices appear under the selected group.
Click on your group name (e.g., S19j Pro) to view detailed statistics.
From there, click “Install Firmware” to start flashing.
After installation, the miner will automatically reboot.
Pool settings and login credentials are imported automatically from BITMAIN firmware.
Step 5 — Configuration and Management
After reboot, configuration can be done:
-
Via the Web Interface (by entering the miner’s IP address), or
-
Directly in GMiner Toolkit, without a browser.
You can adjust fan speed, temperature limits, power modes, and update pools directly from the interface.
If setup fails — contact official support:

Step 6 — Updating Firmware
To update to the latest release:
-
Download the update file (e.g., HashBoost GMiner Toolkit v1.10)
-
In Toolkit or device Web UI, go to System → Update from File
-
Select the .gmu file and confirm installation.
If errors occur, review the Logs tab or contact support.
Step 7 — Safe Rollback to Stock Firmware
If you previously used VNISH or another third-party firmware:
-
Open System → Backup & Restore
-
Click Expand Panel
-
Choose Rollback to Stock Firmware
-
Confirm the operation.
⚙️ Rollback is only possible if firmware is installed in NAND memory.
Step 8 — Monitoring and Logs
GMiner Toolkit provides real-time monitoring without using the browser.
You can view:
-
Hashrate and chip temperature
-
PSU voltage and fan RPM
-
Pool connection status and shares
All activity is recorded in logs (up to 16 MB stored locally).
Logs include time stamps, categories (STRATUM, PSU, COOLING, DRIVER, PERF, CONF), and error levels.
✅ Safety and Reliability
-
Installation is non-destructive — bootloader stays untouched.
-
You can rollback to stock anytime.
-
Built-in temperature and fan protection with auto-recovery.
-
Full compatibility with Antminer and Whatsminer models.
