Device Controls

• Reboot — safe restart of the miner and services.

• Sleep Mode — powers down all hashboards while keeping the control board and fans active (useful for maintenance or scheduled pauses).

• Random Start Delay — staggers miner start after power loss to avoid instant power spikes across a farm (configurable random delay per device).

• Minimum Hashrate Threshold — if actual hashrate drops below a set % of the active profile, the device will auto-reboot (up to three attempts) and raise a warning on the Overview screen.

• Password Management — change the default admin password and enforce your security policy.

Firmware Management

• Update from File — upload a .gmu package to install the latest GMiner firmware.

• Rollback to Stock — one-click restore to the original BITMAIN factory firmware (when supported by the device).

• Current Version & Uptime — view installed firmware version, build, and device uptime.

Configuration Safety

• Reset to Defaults — restore all settings to factory defaults (as after a fresh flash).

• Create Backup — export profiles and system settings to a config file (e.g., backup_s19jpro_192_168_1_190.cfg).

• Restore from Backup — import a saved config after updates or device replacement to clone settings instantly.

Best Practices

• Set Random Start Delay on large farms to protect power infrastructure after outages.

• Use Minimum Hashrate Threshold as an auto-remediator for profile drift or unstable chips.

• Keep a versioned backup per device model; restore it after firmware updates to minimize human error.

• Change default credentials immediately and restrict access to the web UI.

Troubleshooting

• After a reset or rollback, re-check pools and profiles.

• If auto-reboots don’t recover hashrate, inspect logs (PERF/COOLING/DRIVER) and cooling thresholds, then re-run tuning.

• For failed updates, use “Update from File” again or GMiner Toolkit on a management workstation.
